I have been working in a mobile factory for some time now. I focus on making screens for smartphones, though I could also make screens for other gadgets.
As someone very interested in technology, I make extra efforts to ensure that the products I make are well-crafted and are of high-quality. Unlike other workers who work for money or for the sake of performing well, I work on my screens and gadget with passion. I keep in mind that as a user of these items, I would want them top quality, so why would I make them any less?
Since I deal with micro parts, it is essential that we are very careful in every part of the manufacturing process. A little mistake, a little rod off the mark, and the screens will fail quality test. Because of this, our company makes sure that they only hire the best workers and that they also provide us with the best work space. This will increase production and ensure a smooth sailing process, as well as encourage the workers to always give their best since they are only provided with the best equipment and facilities for work.
Going to great lengths in order to guarantee that we have a very well-proofed manufacturing company is important not only for the assurance of quality production but also to assure our employees that they are safe from any harm, micro and macro, because they are in a working environment that is safe and well protected. Our company believes that happy employees will harbor quality products and services.
I can very much attest to the truth of this philosophy because I have experienced it, first hand. Before working for my current company, I endured working for a company that had a reputation, a good name for the world to see, but was rotten in a lot of aspects, internally. By this, I mean that they were not good employees. They did not give their workers the care necessary for them to be more productive with work.
A lot of us endured the company because they had a good name and they will look good on our resume when we do decide to leave. This was also the reason why I stayed.
However, as months passed, I began to feel that the company was not making me grow. I wanted to become a better craftsman at what I do, and the company is just not making it possible for me, and even for everybody else. I was hearing a lot of people were leaving and I thought day and night if I should leave too. I will have to face the troubles of looking for a new job and I will have to save up for the time when I won’t be having any income.
Now, comparing my previous situation and the growth I have experienced with my new company, I can say that I made the right choice of getting out of that company while I still have the chance.
